The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, built in 1860 is still in operation as an aid to navigation and can be
climbed. The recently restored lighthouse is open to the public Saturday - Wednesday, 10 AM - 4 PM, with
the last tour allowed at 3:15 PM. Lighthouse climbers must sign a waiver to be allowed on the property.
For safety reasons, proper footwear is necessary and all climbers must be at least 48" tall. No large
camera or travel bags are permitted at the top of the tower. Group tours can be arranged in advance. A
15 minute video depicting the history of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is free and is shown continuously
at the Visitors Center. A gift shop is also available featuring books and souvenirs of the Lighthouse.
