Key West Corporate Rental
As the Keys are a world away from the mainland, Key West and the Key
West corporate rental community seems a world away from everywhere. America's southernmost city is
closer to Cuba than Miami (Cuba is a mere 90 miles south). Filled with 100-150 year old homes, shipwreck
museums and wild chickens, even the ocean air in Key West and the Key West corporate rental community,
seems to be filled with romance and history.
During the day, the best way to explore the island and its Key West corporate rental area is to leave the
car behind. Scooter rentals are widely available, and provide for easier parking. Couples can also hop
aboard an open-air trolley for a narrated tour of the neighborhoods of Key West and its Key West corporate
rental zones. Or strike out on foot; Duval Street is lined with coast-to-coast art galleries, unique shops,
tropical bars and restaurants. The entire island is only two miles wide by four miles long, so getting
around the Key West corporate rental neighborhood is simple.
Key West and Key West corporate rental area has a number of attractions to explore. The Hemingway House has
the Keys' first in-ground pool, around which descendants of Ernest Hemingway's famed six-toed cat still
lounge. The Key West Shipwreck Historeum offers a fascinating glimpse into a time when shipwrecks provided
island residents with their primary income. From a tall watchtower at the top of the museum, the brave of
heart can get a spectacular view. The Key West Aquarium was the island's first attraction when it opened
in 1935, and offers shark petting and guided tours.
Pier House Resort boasts the only full-service spa in Key West, and is another popular wedding spot.
Couples can get married right on the beach, and host a reception in the banquet rooms. The Chartroom Bar
at Pier House is where Jimmy Buffet met his wife, and a few steps away lays a topless beach for more
adventurous couples from the Key West corporate rental community.
At sunset, the most romantic spot in Key West corporate rental area, just may be in the middle of the
crowd. The main gathering every evening in the Key West corporate rental area is Mallory Square, where
visitors and Conchs gather to celebrate the sunset. Pick up a Key Lime Colada and choose a spot for two
overlooking the ocean for a free show unlike any other. You may not even notice the absence of a sunset
on rare overcast days with the street performers and local artists along the water and views of classic
wooden schooners sailing past out to sea.
An alternative to the Mallory Square crowds is a private charter aboard a catamaran or a classic schooner.
One charter company, Sebago, offers rides on 60' catamarans, including with free champagne, at sunset.
If you are a fan of classic boats, a schooner like the Appledore would be a real treat. Eighty-six feet
long, with two tall masts, the smooth polished wood and broad sails create an atmospheric setting.
Champagne, wine and soft drinks are included, as well as a blanket for snuggling against the chilly ocean
winds. Couples can choose to get married "at sea" on a charter boat.
Key West and the Key West corporate rental area boasts the liveliest nightlife in the Keys. The famous
Duval Crawl is the term for bar-hopping all along Duval Street. A ideal place to dine by candlelight and
watch the crowds go by is Mangoes. The patio overlooks the "crawlers," and it is the perfect place to
enjoy a drink, dinner, and a slice of key lime pie before you venture out for some dancing.
A more unusual way to spend an evening in the Key West corporate rental area is on a Ghost Tour.
Lantern-led walking tours take about an hour and a half, and lead you past haunted homes, active
cemeteries and legendary points of interest.
Key West corporate rental community is also a uniquely romantic destination for gay and lesbian couples.
Many bars cater to couples and singles alike. Traditions like the New Years' countdown make Key West
famous; at midnight every New Years Eve, female impersonator Sushi descends from the New Orleans House
on Duval Street in a giant, glittering, high-heeled shoe. Nearly a quarter of the year-round residents
in Key West and Key West corporate rental zone are gays and lesbians. Many couples choose to hold
commitment ceremonies in these romantic surroundings.
